Built in 2017, the community center of the Evangelische Lukasgemeinde Heidelberg is a place of worship and meeting for Protestant Christians in the mountain districts of Emmertsgrund and Boxberg. It also serves as a venue for a wide variety of cultural events. The building, designed by architect Peter Horejs, was awarded the prestigious Hugo Häring Prize in 2020. The community center impresses with its simplicity and functionality, nature and the seasons are always present through its large windows.
