For the FEIERabend in the cathedral-like foyer of Heidelberg Materials, violinist and mandola player Klemens Bittmann and cellist Matthias Bartolomey will delight you with handmade music that sounds fresh, modern and maybe a bit outrageous. The two Austrians simply take the best from all possible genre worlds and have been tinkering with their varied repertoire for over ten years now with great success: hard rock meets Balkan beats, sophisticated jazz lines meet minimal music and atmospheric pads meet lyrical cantilenas.
