Four of the six festival ensembles reunite in this concert to celebrate Mozart in all his creative periods. Included is the Divertimento in F major from 1772, which is an essential part of Mozart's quartet oeuvre. The Streichquartettfest finale also builds a bridge to the opening concert, which featured Mozart's very first string quartet: Quatuor Voce plays the "3rd Prussian Quartet", his last composition of this genre.
