KlangForum Heidelberg
Verbundene Augen, Geschlossener Mund

30 Mar 2025
18:00

KlangForum Heidelberg with its usual exciting, contrasting and evocative programme of important choral works: Domenico Scarlatti follows Mary's suffering under the cross with impulsive, very sensual music. Old forms filled with a new, romantic spirit can be found in the three motets by Johannes Brahms. In the world premiere of Salvatore Sciarrino's work "Due Cori" from the "Agamemnon" tragedy by Aeschylus, Cassandra states the impermanence of human destiny. "Mit geschlossenem Mund", the singers bid farewell to the great Wolfgang Rihm.
